The Player Similarity Contest was a contest organised by the Fiore Football League on 31st July 2014. The twelve new "Guilds" of the Primeira Liga participated in the event. Each player of these teams was assessed based on their strengths and compared to a shortlist of famous players. Each similarity with a famous player would earn the team one point, with this being shared if more than one player shows a similarity.
This procedure recognises the efforts of the teams in training their players. Ichiya Vandalay, the captain of Blue Pegasus, won after his creativity and technique matched that of several famous playmakers. His team, Blue Pegasus won the right to sign 5 players who are valued between 5 Million and 10 Million British pounds. These signings and their wages are independent of the transfer restrictions imposed by the FFL July Transfer Window. The runners up Masr-El Mikasa were able to sign 2 such players; 3rd placed Wealdstone were able to sign 1. However, Masr-El Mikasa chose to abide to their no real life player rule, giving Wealdstone 2 signings. 5th placed Crime Sorciere wound up receiving the reward, with the 4th placed Straw Hats choosing to help them out.
